Have you made a fruit salad yet this year? Isn't it time you did?
I really like eating fruit.
It's quite satisfying and will usually calm a craving for me.
However, I'm a little hypersensitive when it comes to my hands, and I don't like, say, biting into an apple or a pear and getting juices all over my hand. Ew. Sticky hands. EWWW. I'm not a toddler!
The fix? The fruit salad, of course. Then I can eat it with a fork, and I'm more likely to eat more fruit this way too. Some days I do have to trick myself to eat more wisely.
Of course you can use whatever fruit you like. Don't make such a big salad that you can't eat it all and the fruit goes bad.
I only added the sugar because the strawberries were tart and not sweet.
1 pineapple, chopped <--video if you don't know how
16 oz strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 pint blueberries, stems removed
1 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp honey
Mix it all together.
